Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts & Claims Manager (Senior/Associate/Director Grade) to join our expanding Energy & Natural Resources Team. The role involves managing contracts and claims on high-profile projects across the UK and collaborating with experienced contract management professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing commercial support through assurance reviews and advice on contractual and claims-related matters.
• Supporting development and assurance of project contracting and package strategies.
• Ensuring adherence to governance processes before contract execution.
• Managing execution of Conditions Precedent and Notices to Proceed.
• Providing training on contracts and procurement processes.
• Monitoring contractor compliance with contractual obligations.
• Maintaining records of correspondence, meetings, variations, and reports.
• Guiding project teams on contractual issues.
• Reporting as per CIDAC requirements.
• Managing early warning notices, variations, and claims.
• Handling back-charges, rights to claim, and payment ratification.
• Closing out contractual and commercial matters.

Qualifications

Skills and behaviors required include:

• Ability to work both pre- and post-contract, providing assurance reviews and advice.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Leadership capabilities in complex project environments.
• Experience in contract and claims management on global projects.
• UK driving license or ability to travel to client sites.

Additional qualifications and experience in managing stakeholder relationships and delivering across multicultural environments are preferred.
