Job summary

Macbeth Insurance Brokers & Financial Services in Theale seeks a Commercial Client Adviser to join our growing corporate team. You will support Client Executives on broking, renewals and new business, delivering proactive service to mid-market clients.

The ideal candidate has Cert CII or equivalent, 4–6 years’ experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively or independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Cert CII or equivalent or willingness to study.
• 4–6 years Client Adviser experience preferred but not compulsory.
• Good communication, negotiation and time management skills.
• Understanding of the insurance market and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work with and support the Client Directors and Client Managers to service and retain existing clients and generate new business.
• Fully understand the clients business and insurance requirements.
• Handle all types of risks from Material Damage to Cyber Liability and Management Liability.
• Produce and maintain accurate client records and invoices.
• Build relationships with clients to provide the best customer service and insurance advice.
• Discuss and negotiate terms with insurers and attend client visits when required.
• Identify cross/up-selling opportunities and support ad hoc duties.
