Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
• Draft high-quality pleadings, witness statements, legal correspondence and other court documentation.
• Conduct detailed legal research and provide clear, commercially focused legal advice.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
• Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
• Work closely with colleagues to develop effective litigation strategies and achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Manage case deadlines, documentation and correspondence effectively.
• Keep up to date with relevant legislation, case law and procedural developments.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor/lawyer or equivalent legal qualification.
• Previous experience in civil and/or commercial litigation is preferred.
