Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions seeks a Shift Engineer for a commercial campus near Barbican/Whitechapel. The role requires mechanical qualifications and a proven track record in building maintenance. Salary is £52,000 per year, including a £4,000 shift allowance, with excellent benefits.

Hours: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off; 07:00–19:00 and 19:00–07:00. On-site with pension and additional perks, and on-call/attendance pay if called out.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically qualified with City & Guilds or NVQ.
• Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of M&E maintenance.
• Lighting, fault-finding, lamping and control panels.
• Air Conditioning - AHU/FCU maintenance and filter changes.
• Water treatment - temperature checks.
• Plumbing - unblock toilets.
• BMS system monitoring and coordination of sub-contractors.
• Attend client meetings and maintain site log books.
