Job summary

The program combines four placements with study toward a BSc (Hons) in Applied Retail and Commercial Banking at the University of Exeter, delivering practical experience and professional development.

Qualifications

• Be available to work full-time from November 2027 for 50 months.
• Have obtained 5 or more GCSEs at a minimum of grade 4/C.
• Have obtained, or expected to obtain, a minimum of BCC across your top 3 A-levels.
• Resident in the UK for the last 3 consecutive years and have a continued Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• From day one, you’ll work with Relationship Managers and specialist teams to support Commercial Banking clients.
• You’ll help build a clear picture of each client’s business, goals and challenges, then respond with tailored solutions.
• You could help prepare client presentations, reports and credit papers, and carry out financial analysis and risk assessments.
• Work with Legal, Credit and Risk to understand how we deliver responsible, tailored solutions.
• Across placements, gain early exposure to client-facing work and relationship-building activities.
