Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc invites applications for the Relationship Management - Commercial Banking Degree Apprenticeship in London. This five-year programme combines structured training with placements across our Commercial Banking teams to build client relationships and assess risk and opportunities.

You’ll learn about banking products, credit processes, and market regulations, while earning a BSc (Hons) in Applied Retail and Commercial Banking with the University of Exeter. Start date October 2027.

Qualifications

• Be available to work full-time from November 2027 for 50 months
• Have obtained 5 or more GCSEs at a minimum grade 4/C
• Have obtained, or expected to obtain, a minimum of BCC across top 3 A-levels
• Have been a resident in the UK for the last 3 consecutive years before the start of the Apprenticeship, and have a continued Right to Work in the UK for the full duration of the programme

Responsibilities

• From day one, you’ll work with Relationship Managers and specialist teams to support Commercial Banking clients.
• You’ll help build a clear picture of each client’s business, goals and challenges, then see how HSBC brings the right people together to respond.
• Across placements, you’ll get early exposure to client-facing work and see how strong relationships are built, grown and protected over time.
