Job summary

NES Fircroft in the UK is seeking a Commercial Asset Manager to optimise revenues across a growing portfolio of BESS and solar assets, focusing on market and contractual risk management. You will own budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting, and collaborate with O&M providers to drive operational and commercial improvements.

The role requires 4+ years in renewable energy, strong knowledge of UK power markets and PPAs, and proven financial modelling skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in renewable energy, energy markets or asset management.
• Strong understanding of UK power markets, solar PPAs and BESS revenue streams.
• Experience with commercial contracts, including PPAs, CfDs and optimisation agreements.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Commercially astute with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Optimise revenues across PPAs, CfDs, Capacity Market and BESS ancillary services.
• Manage offtake agreements and support trading and route-to-market strategies.
• Monitor UK power market developments and assess their impact on asset performance.
• Own asset budgets, forecasts, financial analysis and performance reporting.
• Work closely with O&M providers to improve operational and commercial performance.
• Manage contractual, regulatory and commercial risks across the portfolio.
