Job summary

CY Executive Resourcing presents an established manufacturing client seeking a qualified Accountant to join its Finance team. The role focuses on management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory compliance, and business partnering across a multi-entity business.

You will own monthly management accounts, support stakeholders with financial insight, supervise one team member, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with strong management accounting experience.
• Experience producing monthly management accounts to strict deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills and financial control discipline.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Provide business partnering support and financial insight to operational and senior stakeholders.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain robust financial controls.
• Review payroll calculations and ensure accuracy of related financial records.
• Manage payment runs and salary payments.
• Calculate incentive schemes, commissions and other variable remuneration payments.
• Ensure VAT compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support audit information preparation and coordination.
