Commercial Account Manager – Consumer Channels (Online & Specialist Partners)
We’re seeking a commercially minded and results-driven Commercial Account Manager to take ownership of two key areas of our business: our Direct-to-Consumer Online Channel and our Specialist Partner Channel. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building strategic relationships, driving performance, and delivering strong commercial outcomes.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing and developing key customer accounts across both digital and specialist partner channels. This includes identifying new revenue opportunities, optimising margin performance, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver measurable commercial success.
This role would suit someone with a background in account management, commercial trading, or channel development—particularly within consumer-facing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow existing accounts across online and specialist partner channels.
Develop and implement commercial strategies to increase revenue and improve margin performance.
Analyse sales data and customer trends to identify growth opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners to maximise value.
Collaborate with category management/marketing, operations, and finance teams to deliver channel objectives.
Monitor KPIs and provide regular performance updates to senior leadership.
Take ownership of pricing, promotions, and product positioning to drive profitability.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in account management, commercial trading, or channel development.
Strong understanding of online consumer behaviour and digital sales channels.
Demonstrable experience managing P&L, improving margins, and achieving commercial targets.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical skills with a high level of numeracy and planning ability.
Proficient in using business systems and tools to track performance and inform decisions.
Experience of managing a team/s.
