TGRC is currently looking for an experienced Commercial Account Manager to join a cleantech innovator in London, UK on a Hybrid working model.

Company Overview:

The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to have exclusively partnered with a forward-thinking cleantech innovator on their journey to revolutionise global distributed energy markets through their unique energy storage optimisation & monitoring product suite.

The business has a well-established, scale-up brand within the UK Cleantech Market, with numerous partnership opportunities ready to convert, and is seeking a new Commercial professional to join their team.

They are looking for an experienced “deal closer” to convert early to advanced stage discussions, originated by the SLT, into B2B technology sales opportunities & partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as bid & sales specialist within business sales processes – collaborating with internal stakeholders to secure desired deals with target customers.
  • Progress specific near-term qualified sales opportunities in the existing pipeline.
  • Understand the needs of prospective and existing customers from a commercial perspective (pricing, deal structure, contracting).
  • Work with the Product department to align efforts with customer needs and provide feedback.
  • Coordinate with Legal to contract customer opportunities in a way that enables future growth/up-sell.
  • Collaborate with marketing to increase brand awareness and communicate value to target customers.

Requirements:

  • Versatile, forward-thinking, solution-driven commercial professional.
  • Experience in closing deals, especially solution selling.
  • Experience with commercial contracting and pricing.
  • Preferably experience in B2B SaaS technology sales for emerging software products.
  • Degree qualification, ideally in a STEM discipline.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong social and interpersonal skills, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Quick learner, adaptable to change and ambiguity.
