Job summary

Brown & Brown UK in East Grinstead is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join our office, with hybrid working available if desired. You will support day-to-day client service on motor fleet and related lines, manage renewals and new business quotations, develop referrals, and collaborate with underwriters and brokers to secure the best terms.

The role requires 2+ years’ experience, Cert CII preferred, strong communication and stakeholder management, and IT proficiency; driving licence

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in an Account Handling role for Commercial Motor Fleet and related lines.
• Cert CII preferred and progression within a client-focused organisation.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and attention to detail.
• Experience interpreting policy wordings and coordinating with brokers/underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients on renewals and new business quotations.
• Managing relationships with key stakeholders and delivering outstanding service.
• Proactively develop a pipeline of referrals from existing clients.
• Liaising with broking and support teams to ensure accurate documentation.
• Negotiating with Underwriters to secure best terms.
• Supporting regional management and development of colleagues.
