Brown & Brown, Inc. in East Grinstead is hiring a Commercial Account Handler to manage renewals, quotations and client relationships. You will support Account Executives, develop a referrals pipeline and negotiate with underwriters to secure favourable terms.

Ideal candidates hold 2+ years in account handling for Commercial lines, preferably with Cert CII and Acturis experience. A driving licence is a plus; hybrid working is available after probation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an Account Handling role (Commercial Motor Fleet and related lines).
• Cert CII qualification preferred; progression in client-focused org.
• Strong communication across written, verbal, and video channels; stakeholder and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with renewals, new business quotations, and day-to-day client requirements.
• Develop a pipeline of referrals from existing clients to secure new business.
• Work with clients to expand coverage and liaise with broking/support teams for documentation.
• Negotiate with underwriters to secure best terms; ensure compliant, timely case handling.
• Support Account Executives with renewal prep and walk-throughs; help achieve retention and income targets.
