Job summary

Stride Resource Management Ltd in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to own the day-to-day servicing of SME and mid-market clients, working closely with Account Executives on renewals and new business.

You will manage workloads, build relationships with clients and insurers, and use your technical knowledge to handle policy queries and requirements, with a view to progressing as the branch develops.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance servicing for SME or mid-market clients.
• Strong understanding of core commercial covers and renewals.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day servicing of SME and mid-market commercial clients.
• Work with Account Executives on renewals, remarketing and client strategy.
• Handle mid-term adjustments, policy queries and client requirements.
• Prepare renewal documentation and obtain information from clients.
• Liaise with insurers to obtain terms and resolve coverage or policy issues.
• Review policies and documentation to ensure cover reflects client needs.
• Build relationships with clients and insurer partners.
• Support new business opportunities and help Account Executives provide suitable solutions.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure work complies with regulatory and internal requirements.
