Job summary

Ips Group, a well-established broker in South Yorkshire, is seeking a Senior Commercial Account Handler to manage a portfolio of commercial clients, renewals, MTAs and day-to-day servicing. You will work with Account Executives and insurers to deliver excellent service and retention.

You should have 3+ years of commercial insurance experience, strong product knowledge, and familiarity with Acturis. This role offers a hybrid working pattern and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial insurance account handling experience within an insurance broker.
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of commercial insurance products.
• Experience handling renewals, MTAs, and day-to-day client servicing.
• Experience dealing directly with insurers and supporting placement activity.
• Good understanding of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of commercial clients, renewing policies and servicing accounts.
• Handle MTAs and day-to-day policy administration.
• Serve as a technical referral point within the team and liaise with insurers.
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and insurer partners.
