About the role

Here at Superscript, we’re looking for a Commercial Account Handler. Superscript aims to enable SMEs to take necessary risks with suitable business insurance, and our Commercial SMERetentions team plays a key role in achieving this.

This role involves maintaining and strengthening customer relationships by preventing policy cancellations and encouraging renewals through proactive communication. We seek a self-motivated individual who is confident with clients and eager to learn and develop.

What you'll do
  • Proactively contact existing policyholders via phone, email, or other channels to retain their policies
  • Communicate with policyholders before renewal dates to discuss benefits and upsell opportunities
  • Understand customer concerns to provide appropriate solutions
  • Identify reasons for potential cancellations and develop strategies to retain customers
  • Explain policy changes, premiums, and enhancements for new and existing policies
  • Help customers understand how different insurance policies meet their needs
  • Suggest improvements to the customer experience and share ideas with the team
About you
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Willing to learn and develop
  • Experience with Acturis, Hubspot, Zendesk, and Aircall
  • Knowledge of Commercial combined insurance
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable initiating communication via phone or email
  • Growth mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
