Job summary

IDEX Consulting Ltd. in Bristol is seeking an experienced Account Executive to manage a substantial mid-corporate book and focus on servicing and retaining these clients.

You will nurture relationships, secure renewals, and aim for realistic new business targets, with support from a team of Account Handlers and a flexible, hybrid working pattern requiring 2 days in the Bristol office.

Qualifications

• Experienced Account Executive who manages a client book.
• Experience managing mid-corporate clients (~£10k–£75k premium).
• Willingness to service, retain, and renew existing accounts.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive for a unique opportunity within a leading insurance Broker's Bristol office. This is not a pure new business role. The successful candidate will inherit a substantial book of mid-corporate business (circa £250,000 income) with the primary focus on servicing and retaining these clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of mid-corporate clients


• Build and maintain strong client relationships


• Secure client renewals and ensure high retention rates


• Generate some new business, with a realistic first-year target

What We're Looking For:

• An experienced Account Executive who thrives on building and looking after a client book


• Someone who is not looking for a pure, cold new business development role


• Experience managing clients in the mid-corporate space (c.£10k - £75k premium)


• Ambitious, enthusiastic and capable
