Position: Commercial Account Executive

Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne

Package: Negotiable Salary + Bonus + Car Allowance

We are expanding our team in Newcastle and are looking to add a New Business focused Account Executive to assist with business growth. We welcome applications from both existing Account Executives and Account Handlers seeking to step into their first Executive role. You will be supported by the Account Handlers team to ensure we deliver the high-level service our clients expect.

The Day-to-Day Responsibilities

1. Proactively develop a pipeline of prospects to generate new business.
2. Advise clients on renewals, manage relationships with key stakeholders, and provide outstanding service.
3. Work with clients to expand and tailor their coverage to meet their needs.
4. Liaise with the broking and support teams to ensure accurate documentation.
5. Negotiate with Underwriters to secure the best terms.
6. Operate in a compliant and timely manner on all cases.
7. Achieve retention levels and income targets.

Your Experience

• Solid experience across the Commercial Insurance market.
• Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels, proficiency in Word, Excel, and broking platforms (Acturis preferred).
• Strong sales, negotiation, influencing, and IT skills.
• Confidence in engaging with stakeholders, including board-level contacts.
• Full driving license.
