Job summary

Grain LNG Limited is seeking a COMAH Compliance & Safety Manager to lead the delivery of safe, compliant and reliable operations at our upper-tier COMAH terminal. You will oversee major hazard management, occupational safety leadership and regulatory engagement to ensure inspection readiness and high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading COMAH compliance at an upper-tier site.
• Proven regulator engagement and inspections management.
• Ability to lead risk reduction across major hazard environments.
• Strong knowledge of COMAH, process safety and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Ability to make timely decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead COMAH compliance and safety management across the site.
• Oversee safety reports, management systems and SRAM evidence.
• Engage with regulators (HSE & EA) and manage inspections.
• Coordinate hazard studies (HAZOP/LOPA) and safety reviews.
• Support emergency preparedness and Site Response Controller duties.
• Drive continual improvement in process safety and workplace safety.
