Job summary

Ace Academics Consultancy is recruiting an Academic Learning Mentor for a Further Education college in Central London, supporting learners aged 16–19 and adult learners across Maths, English and IT.

The role centers on academic mentoring, classroom support and learner engagement to help students progress and succeed. An Enhanced DBS is essential, with opportunities for CPD in a thriving London setting.

Qualifications

• DBS on Update Service is essential.
• Experience supporting learners in a school or FE setting.
• Strong communication, empathy and relationship-building skills.
• Calm, proactive and student-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a wider college team.
• Relevant qualifications desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting an Academic Learning Mentor to support learners at a Further Education college in Central London, working primarily across Maths, English and IT.

This role focuses on academic mentoring, classroom support and learner engagement, supporting students aged 16–19 and adult learners to progress and succeed.
