Job summary

NPTC Group of Colleges is inviting applications for a College Librarian to join a dedicated Library Services team. You will lead and develop innovative library services that support teaching, learning and student success, within a small, supportive team.

The role is 37 hours per week, with evening work and occasional early mornings and weekends. Salary scale 6, points 29–31, £35,590–£37,390 per annum. Based at Newtown College, permanent full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Level 6 qualification in Library and Information Management.
• Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent).
• IT literate including MS Office and MS Teams experience.
• Experience of academic research using printed and online information sources.

Summary

Join our Library Services team and play a key role in enhancing the learner experience. About you

Our ideal candidate will have a Level 6 qualification in Library and Information Management and have relevant experience. You should also hold level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate equivalent to level 3 including experience of using MS Office applications and MS Teams. Experience of academic research using printed and online information sources is essential.
