Job summary

NPTC Group of Colleges in Newtown is seeking a Lecturer in ESOL. This permanent role involves delivering ESOL courses with annualised hours of 417.5 to 536, including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends.

The post is based at Newtown College and comes with competitive salary and benefits. Applicants should hold a Level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline, a Level 2 English and Maths, and a Level 3 ESOL/EFL/TESOL/TEFL/TESL/CELTA/DELTA or equivalent teaching qualification.

About you: Candidates must have a level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline and have relevant experience. You must have a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) and Level 3 ESOL/EFL/TESOL/TEFL/TESL/CELTA/DELTA or equivalent. Candidates must also hold a teaching qualification (training provided) and be IT literate equivalent to level 2. Excellent knowledge and understanding of second language acquisition and techniques for teaching English is essential.
