Job summary

NPTC Group of Colleges in Wales seeks Associate Lecturer to join our expanding Further Education team. The post is permanent, flexible fractional, based at Neath College, with duties across Neath, Pontardawe and Afan College.

You should hold a level 6 degree in a relevant discipline, a teaching qualification or be prepared to train, and have a level 2 Maths and English qualification. The salary is pro rata with scales that reflect experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Level 6 qualification (Degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
• Teaching qualification preferred or training provided.
• Level 2 Maths and English qualification (GCSE or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and tutorials across Neath, Pontardawe and Afan colleges.
• Support learners and contribute to a broad FE programme.
• Contribute to assessment, learner progression and curriculum development.
