Job summary

NPTC Group of Colleges invites applications for an Associate Lecturer (Band A) based at Newtown College. The post is permanent, flexible fractional with annualised hours between 699.6 and 835, including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Salary scales range from £26,387 to £31,140 per annum pro rata, with UP1 progression (£33,596 to £48,289 pro rata) for qualified lecturers. We seek someone with a teaching qualification, NVQ Level 3/Advanced Craft in Carpentry and Joinery, and

Band A.

Annualised hours: 699.6 - 835 (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends). Permanent, flexible fractional.

Associate Lecturer Scales 1 - 4, £26,387 - £31,140 per annum, pro rata.

• UP1, £33,596 - £48,289 per annum, pro rata (for qualified lecturers).
• NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Newtown College).

About you:

• Our ideal applicant will have a teaching qualification (training may be provided), along with a NVQ Level 3/Advanced Craft Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery and have relevant industrial experience.
• Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English are also required (GCSE or equivalent).
• With the impact the digital world is having on teaching and learning candidates will also need to be IT literate to at least level.
