Job summary

Liberis in the United Kingdom is seeking a Collections Agent to own our in‑house collection process, guiding a diverse receivables book back toward good standing with precision, empathy and a focus on timely outcomes for every customer.

You will thrive in a hybrid work model, joining the UK team with potential collaboration across our global collections group; fluency in English and one extra language (German, Czech or Slovak) is desirable, along with Excel proficiency and a keen eye for process

Qualifications

Fluency in English and one additional language (German, Czech or Slovak).
Experience in a collections team, preferably SME collections.
Ability to self-manage and prioritise tasks.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills for all levels.
High integrity in all actions and decisions.
Proficiency in Excel.
Keen attention to detail for accuracy.
Ability to identify and propose process improvements.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily monitoring of receivables to uncover underperforming and inactive customers.
Investigate causes of inactivity and devise efficient rehabilitation strategies.
Engage directly with customers via daily phone calls and emails to reignite engagement.
Contact customers by legal letters when previously unreachable to convey messages clearly.
Ensure defaulting account volumes stay within budget by budgeting and strategic action.
Be a Fairness Ambassador and uphold Liberis' customer-centric values.
Manage and prioritise daily workload with autonomy while collaborating with the team.
