Job summary

U-Drive is seeking a Collections Agent to join our Finance team in Poole. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, negotiate sustainable repayment arrangements and support customers in resolving outstanding balances.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and the ability to manage a busy workload in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in inbound and outbound contact center environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong negotiation skills for practical repayments.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle high volume inbound and outbound calls about outstanding payments.
• Negotiate and monitor repayment arrangements.
• Process customer payments accurately.
• Engage via email when phone contact fails.
• Maintain records of interactions, payments, and collections activity.
• Coordinate with Litigation team on processes and next steps.
• Develop knowledge of litigation procedures to support court cases.
