Job summary

Fintellect Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Recoveries Specialist for a reputable UK financial services group. You will manage a portfolio of defaulted accounts, apply recovery strategies and negotiate settlements to maximise recoveries and minimise losses.

The role requires at least 2 years in collections/recoveries, strong attention to detail, and adeptness with CRM and MS Office. A proactive team player with professional integrity will thrive in this environment and support

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Collections or Recoveries department.
• Team player who is also proactive, self-motivated and has a strong work ethic.
• Demonstrable professional integrity.
• A good working knowledge of CRM and data systems, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to manipulate information databases.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of defaulted accounts.
• Contacting customers through varied channels.
• Assessing individual circumstances and setting appropriate recovery strategies.
• Negotiating repayment arrangements, settlements and resolutions.
• Supporting asset recovery, repossessions and enforcement activity.
• Working with solicitors, insolvency practitioners, recovery agents, valuers and auction houses.
• Supporting litigation and insolvency cases, including bankruptcies, IVAs, administrations and liquidations.
• Maintaining accurate case records and producing portfolio and management information.
• Identifying risks, trends and opportunities to improve recovery performance.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Recoveries Specialist. As a Recoveries Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of personal and commercial accounts that will require support throughout the recovery process to maximise recoveries, minimise losses and achieve fair customer outcomes.
