Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Collection and Network Driver for a 12‑month fixed term, 20 hours per week, shift 15:45 to 18:45 at Brinklow Delivery Office.

You will deliver, collect, and sort mail on your route, working across Mon–Sun while staying outdoors in all weather and maintaining high standards of service for customers.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to walk and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to work flexible shifts across Mon-Sun.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect mail on a local route, ensuring items reach the right destinations.
• Sort mailbags and load/unload items for routing and processing centres.
• Provide reliable, friendly service and support customers on the doorstep.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
