Job summary

Royal Mail in Denbigh is seeking a part-time Collection and Network Driver to join our team. You will collect, sort and deliver mail on your route, with a focus on reliability and customer service.

You will work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 19:00, and benefit from a guaranteed hourly rate and pension along with opportunities for career development. You’ll support delivery to processing centres and business customers with pride and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect mail on your route.
• Check post-boxes and drop off at processing centres.
• Visit business customers at prearranged times.
• Sort mailbags and ensure correct routing.
• Deliver more than letters and parcels with strong customer service.

• A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.68p/h(paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours).

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
