Job summary

Royal Mail in Llangefni is hiring a Collection and Network Driver for a permanent, part-time role working 15 hours across five days (Mon-Fri) from 15:00 to 18:30. You will deliver and collect mail, assist business customers, and support routing and processing at the delivery office.

Ideal candidates will have a full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points, enjoy working outdoors, and thrive in a community-focused role with flexible shifts and a competitive hourly rate of £13.68.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Able to walk long distances and work outdoors in any weather.
• Willing to work flexible shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Securely deliver all items on your route to the correct destinations.
• Collect mail and election materials where required.
• Sort mailbags and ensure timely delivery to processing centres.
• Provide outstanding service and represent Royal Mail professionally.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
