Royal Mail is seeking a Collection and Network Driver in Leicester to join a team delivering and collecting mail across a fixed-term 9-month contract. The role involves house-to-house deliveries, post-box checks and visiting business customers, with a focus on timely and accurate mail handling.

The ideal driver is upbeat, self-motivated, comfortable walking long distances, and able to work flexible shifts. A full UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points is required, with uniform provided

Responsabilidades

• Deliver and collect mail on your route, including posting and collecting at post offices.
• Sort mailbags and ensure items reach the right destination on time.
• Check post-boxes, visit business customers at prearranged times, and drop off at processing centres.
• Deliver more than letters and parcels, contributing to customer satisfaction and community service.

Hours: 20:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Mon-Sun, working between 14:00 - 18:00 and 15:45 - 19:45

Please note:

For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
