Royal Mail Group is hiring a Collection and Network Driver for Kings Norton Delivery Office on a fixed-term contract of 9 months. The role is 20 hours per week, spread over five days between Monday and Saturday, with shifts between 14:45 and 18:45.

A full UK manual driving licence with up to six penalty points is required. This position involves collecting and delivering mail, visiting business customers, and supporting processing centres.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to work 20 hours per week across 5 days including weekends.
• Able to walk for long periods and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver items on your route accurately.
• Check post-boxes and visit business customers as scheduled.
• Sort mailbags and ensure timely delivery to processing centres.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
