Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Collection and Network Driver for Cardigan Delivery Office. The role involves delivering and collecting mail on a 16-hour-per-week schedule, Monday to Friday, with shifts from 14:15 to 17:30.

You’ll help with check-boxing, visiting post offices, and ensuring mail reaches the right place on time. Ideal candidates are upbeat, independent and community-minded, comfortable outdoors in all weather, and hold a full UK driving licence with minimal penalty points.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail on assigned route to ensure timely doorstep deliveries.
• Sort mailbags and assist at processing centres as required.
• Engage with customers to provide reliable service in all weather.
• Move between collection points including post offices and business customers.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
