Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, part of Royal Mail Group, is hiring in Leeds for a part-time driver role. You will sort parcels, deliver to homes and businesses, perform vehicle safety checks, and provide a friendly, dependable service while working 27 hours per week with potential overtime.

Starting salary is £25,201 per year with progression to £27,561 after 6 months and a potential up to £30,000 per year, plus weekend premiums and other benefits.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable and customer-focused; able to work independently and as part of a team.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 27 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Friday, Saturday & Monday - 08:00-17:00.
Location: Parcelforce Worldwide, Units 1-4, Stourton, Leeds - LS10 1RZ

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
