Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, part of Royal Mail Group, is seeking a delivery driver in Cambridge. You will sort parcels, plan routes, perform vehicle checks and deliver to homes and businesses while ensuring a friendly, reliable service.

The role offers a permanent contract with 30 hours per week, overtime opportunities, and a strong benefits package including pension and healthcare.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable, and customer focused.
• Capable of working independently yet as part of a team.

Hours: 30 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday, Tuesday and Saturday 07:00-17:00
Location: Parcelforce Worldwide, Coral Park Industrial Estate, Cambridge, CB1 3EZ

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays)
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime

Additional Allowances:-

• o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• o Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who's friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
