Job description

Payment Support Agent at Oodle Car Finance.
The Payment Support Team at Oodle Car Finance is on a mission to deliver a great customer experience. In this role, you will support our customers who have outstanding payments to help them manage any missed payments. You will have exceptional communication and empathy skills and be able to build relationships with our customers to support them with the right outcome.

What you'll be getting up to:

  1. Dealing with telephone queries from customers who are experiencing financial difficulties.
  2. Having great conversations with customers to find suitable payment solutions for any missed payments.
  3. Setting up payment plans and working with other specialist teams to support the customer.
  4. Displaying compassion and understanding towards customers in vulnerable circumstances.
  5. Recording conversations and administrative actions within the relevant systems.
  6. Reviewing processes which could be automated or enhanced to improve the customer and business experience.
  7. Identifying and raising any risks with your line manager.

The role will be a great fit if:
  1. Previous experience of working in a similar Payment Support/Collections/Recoveries role.
  2. Excellent communication and listening skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with our customers.
  3. Strong knowledge of financial principles and understanding different ways of supporting our customers.
  4. A desire to support our customers to improve their financial health.
  5. Ability to proactively manage and prioritise caseload in line with KPIs.

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000
Discretionary Company Bonus Scheme
Working hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 6.30pm (1 hour lunch), one Saturday every 3 weeks from 9am - 1pm (37.5 hours per week)
