Job summary

Personnel Solutions (Midlands) Limited in Carlisle is hiring a Van Driver to deliver parcels to businesses and homes. You will load and unload, follow routes, and meet daily targets with a focus on professional customer service.

Requires a full manual UK driving licence and a DBS check (£30). The role offers Monday–Friday daytime shifts from 10:30 to 18:30, 48 hours per week in a busy parcel operation.

Qualifications

• Have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• Be able to complete a DBS check before starting work (£30)
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Be comfortable working independently and managing your own delivery round

The Role

As a Van Driver, your main responsibilities will include:

• Driving a company van safely and responsibly
• Delivering parcels to businesses and residential addresses
• Loading and unloading parcels
• Completing deliveries efficiently and accurately
• Following designated delivery routes and instructions
• Working to daily delivery targets while maintaining high standards of service

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must:

• Hold a full manual UK driving licence
• Have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• Be able to successfully complete a DBS check before starting work which is charged at £30.
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Have a professional and customer-focused attitude
