Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our well known client in Carlisle for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers. You will deliver parcels by company van, with potential door-to-door or locker deliveries and up to 50 stops a day.

Shifts are 10am starts (and 1pm options). The role is ongoing with a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Pay is £14.50 per hour PAYE, with a focus on reliable customer service and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence is required.
• Experience driving a van is preferred.
• No more than 6 points on your licence; minor offences only.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Physical ability to load and unload parcels manually.
• Strong time management and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver parcels.
• Deliver to doorsteps or lockers as required.
• Manage up to 50 stops per day.
• Represent the brand courteously and keep the vehicle clean.
• Load/unload parcels safely, use handheld scanner.
• Deliver goods within set timeframes and handle sensitive items with care.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers to join the team.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday - 10am starts
• Tuesday to Saturday - 10am or 1pm starts
• Monday to Friday - 1pm starts

Hours:

10am or 1pm

Pay Rate:

£14.50 per hour PAYE

Carlisle, CA6 4RD

Job Type:

The role:

• Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver parcels
• Drivers may be required to door to door or lockers
• Max 50 stops her day
• Positively representing the brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver.
• Safe loading and unloading of parcels on to a van.
• Delivery of products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes.
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation, if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care.
• Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver shipments

Requirements:

• A valid UK driver's license.
• Van driving experience (preferable)
• Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
