Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Poole is looking for a driver who will sort parcels, plan routes and deliver to homes and businesses with a friendly, dependable service. You’ll perform vehicle safety checks and work both independently and as part of a team.

The role is permanent, 48 hours per week with overtime. Starting salary is £25,201, rising to £27,561 after 6 months, with potential to earn up to £30,000 yearly through overtime and allowances.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes
• Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks
• Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses
• Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail

What We’re Looking For

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat C1 up to 7.5tonnes) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points and DCQC accreditation
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
