Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide Poole is hiring a delivery driver to join our team. You will sort parcels, plan efficient routes, and deliver to homes and businesses.

The role is 38 hours per week with overtime opportunities and a typical shift pattern across Wednesday-Friday 07.30am - 6.00pm, Saturday 07.00am -3.00pm, in Poole. Starting salary £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour), rising to £27,561 after 6 months, with the opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address.
• DCQC accreditation (7.5t) registered to your current address.

Responsibilities

• Sort parcels and plan efficient delivery routes.
• Carry out essential vehicle safety checks.
• Collect and deliver parcels to homes and businesses.
• Provide a friendly, dependable service - whether it's a birthday gift or important business mail.

What we're looking for

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat C1 up to 7.5tonnes) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points and DCQC accreditation (7.5t delete if not applicable)
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who's friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
