Job summary

OGT, a Cambridge-based provider of clinical and diagnostic genomic solutions, seeks a Warehouse Operator to support safe receipt, storage and internal distribution of inventory. You will inspect deliveries, maintain storage conditions, perform stock checks and re-order inventory with attention to quality and compliance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure accurate inventory records, with activities including goods-in, transfer processes and iPassport-based picking.

Responsibilities

• Be Dry Ice trained and certified.
• Assist with warehouse goods-in and material transfer processes and update inventory systems accordingly.
• Place Purchase Orders for basic replenishment orders.
• Inspect goods for damage on arrival, verify quantities against delivery notes and safely move stock to designated storage areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and optimize stock levels to meet demand while minimizing costs.
• Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Final kit product assembly as required.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
• Assist with Materials Management tasks using the iPassport system for picking.
• Execute and document tasks using ISO-compliant documentation.
• Adhere to Cytocell quality system procedures and report non-compliance promptly.
• Report safety-related issues with required documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional scientific, laboratory and R&D teams.
