Job summary

Honesty Group, a community-led food business operating coffee shops and pubs, seeks a full-time Coffee Shop Supervisor to lead the shift, set service tone, and support the Manager in achieving sales and standards. You’ll be hands-on, customer-facing and ensure smooth day-to-day shop operation.

You will open/close as keyholder, manage a team of Coffee Shop Assistants, handle orders and stock, and uphold food safety and presentation during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in hospitality or retail.
• Confident leading a team and setting standards.
• Customer-focused, organised and reliable.
• Hands-on on the floor and able to adapt to busy periods.
• Willing to work weekends and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Coffee Shop Assistants.
• Open and close the shop as a keyholder.
• Deliver excellent customer service and step in during busy periods.
• Support rotas and sales targets with the Manager.
• Manage stock, deliveries, displays and orders.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and temperature checks are completed.
• Handle customer enquiries and orders (in person and phone).
• Keep the shop clean, welcoming and well presented.
• Complete end-of-day tasks: waste logs, cashing up, lock up.
