Maison Estelle, a private members’ club in Mayfair, seeks a Cocktail Lounge Host to create a warm, personalised member experience and build strong relationships with VIP guests. You will manage reservations, respond to enquiries, and ensure seamless service with discretion and professionalism.

The role emphasizes hospitality passion, strong English communication, and the ability to thrive in a busy, high-volume setting, within a hosted-home culture at our Estelle venues.

• Previous host experience in a busy and high-volume hospitality operation.
• Planning ability; able to work unsupervised.
• Attention to detail, able to identify mistakes and seek clarification.
• Excellent time‑management skills; prioritising during busy periods.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues, senior management, and members.
• Strong command of English.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.

As the Cocktail Lounge Host you'll be responsible for:

• Creating a warm, welcoming and lasting impression for our members.
• Striving to build genuine relationships with all members.
• Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions or queries members may have and ensure all follow up is carried out promptly.
• Being aware of all VIP members and their guests visiting us and ensure their experience is tailored appropriately and inform restaurant management of their arrival.
• Anticipating to members needs and provide them with a personalised experience.
• Feeling empowered to make a decision that will enhance the member experience or defuse any complaints which may arise.
• Ensuring any issues that may arise are dealt with immediately and to conclusion, logged accurately and promptly followed up.
• Taking responsibility for the end-to-end member journey ensuring every member feels like they are in a hosted home.
• Suggesting changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, cost reductions and to improve our member experience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Previous hostexperience in a busy and high-volume hospitality operation.
• Computer literate (MS Office, SevenRooms, CRM systems)
• Planning ability; able to work unsupervised.
• Attention to detail, able to identify mistakes and request clarification.
• Excellent time‑management skills; comfortable prioritising what is important during busy periods.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management, and members.
• Strong command of English.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.
