Job summary

Severfield is seeking a Coatings Operative (HPC) to apply protective coatings to the correct specification on the Hinkley Point C project. You will ensure blast profile and surface cleanliness meet the required standard while applying coatings with the right equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Check steel adequate from blast profile and surface cleanliness for the application of protective products.
• Check wet pool thickness.
• Check specification to ensure correct product and masking details and overcoat periods.
• Apply coatings use correct equipment.
• Demask steel after applying coating.
• Clean line and equipment.
