Job summary

Technip Energies is seeking an experienced QC Painting & Insulation Inspector to support construction activities on the Net Zero Teesside Power project. You will ensure painting, coating, fireproofing and insulation works meet project specs, procedures, international standards and client requirements, with rigorous documentation and QA/QC governance.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Materials, Mechanical, Industrial or Construction disciplines.
• CSCS Card (or equivalent site access certification).
• NACE Coating Inspector Level 2 or above; or FROSIO Inspector Level III; or ICorr Level 2 Coating Inspector.
• Valid UK work authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Verify surfaces and insulation work per ITPs, method statements and project specifications.
• Coordinate inspections at defined hold points and witness points; review Inspection Test Records.
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor subcontractor performance relating to coating and insulation activities.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality dossiers.
• Prepare inspection reports and NCRs; participate in quality walkdowns and handovers.
• Support QA/QC programme implementation and audits.
