Linde AMT UK Limited in Swindon is seeking a Production Manager to lead Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Operational Excellence within the coating operation. You will own the production planning process and drive daily execution to meet demand while ensuring safety and cost targets.

The role requires a degree in Engineering or related field and 3–5 years of experience leading production teams in regulated industries, with hands-on Lean, MDI, Leadership Standard Work, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years' experience leading production teams in manufacturing, aerospace, precision engineering, coating, or other regulated environments.
• Proven track record of delivering improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and Operational Excellence.
• Strong experience in production planning, capacity management, resource optimization, and execution of customer-driven production schedules.
• Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Leadership Standard Work, and visual management systems.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher), IOSH/NEBOSH qualification, and AS9100 knowledge are desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide visible leadership for Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Operational Excellence in coating operations.
• Own the production planning process and align capacity, labor, materials and equipment to demand.
• Lead daily production plan execution to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity targets.
• Lead daily performance reviews focused on key metrics and continuous improvement.
• Drive improvements in OEE, labor productivity, sales per head, operating profit per head, waste reduction and customer service.
• Establish and sustain a disciplined Standard Plant approach through Leadership Standard Work and 6S.
