Job summary

Linde plc in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced production leader to oversee Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Operational Excellence within our coating operation. You will own the production plan, balance capacity and resources to meet customer demand, and drive daily execution to achieve our performance targets.

You will lead performance reviews, push continuous improvement, and embed Lean practices, 6S, and standard work while developing a high-performing team with a strong focus

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or related discipline.
• 3-5 years' experience leading production teams in manufacturing, aerospace, precision engineering, coating or regulated environments.
• Proven track record delivering improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and Operational Excellence.
• Experience in production planning, capacity management, resource optimisation and execution of customer-driven schedules.
• Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, MDI, Leadership Standard Work and visual management implementations.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, IOSH/NEBOSH qualification and AS9100 knowledge are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily execution of the production plan to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity objectives.
• Lead daily performance reviews focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Continuous Improvement metrics.
• Drive improvements in key business measures including OEE, labour productivity, operating profit per head, waste reduction and customer service.
• Establish and sustain a disciplined Standard Plant approach through Leadership Standard Work and 6S.

What makes you great

• You have a degreequalification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or arelated discipline, or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience
• You have 3-5years' experience leading production teams in a manufacturing, aerospace,precision engineering, coating, or other regulated industrial environment
• Further, you have a proventrack record of delivering measurable improvements in Safety, Quality,Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and Operational Excellence
• Strongexperience in production planning, capacity management, resourceoptimisation, and execution of customer-driven production schedules round up you profile
• You have demonstratedsuccess implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement,Management Daily Improvement (MDI), Leadership Standard Work, and visualmanagement systems
• LeanSix Sigma Green Belt (or higher), IOSH/NEBOSH qualification, and knowledgeof AS9100 quality systems and structured problem-solving methodologies arehighly desirable
