Job summary

Factory International is seeking an Engagement Project Manager to join the Public Engagement team. You will coordinate participatory and co-curated activities, recruit and support participants, artists and partners, and liaise with internal teams to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.

The role focuses on widening access and building lasting connections within Greater Manchester’s diverse communities. You will work closely with the Senior Engagement Producer to plan and evaluate programmes,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale participatory or co-created work from development to delivery and evaluation.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative and exercise sound judgement in delivering a complex programme.
• Confident in setting up and delivering workshops with artists and community participants.
• Knowledge of Greater Manchester’s communities and neighbourhoods.
• A strong commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level of the organisation.
• Support participants to develop and realise creative ideas with appropriate structure and guidance.
• Understanding of inclusive practice and cultural sensitivities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and evaluate participatory, co-curated engagement activity.
• Liaise on participant recruitment processes with outreach and partnerships.
• Attend project meetings to manage schedules, databases and budgets.
• Plan events and activities with welfare, access support and catering where appropriate.
• Deliver meetings, workshops, rehearsals and large-scale events.
• Ensure a worthwhile and enjoyable experience for all participants.
