Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a CNST and Special Projects Lead Midwife (Band 8A) to drive compliance of CNST across the perinatal service. Working with the multidisciplinary perinatal team, you will manage evidence collection, reporting deadlines, and lead on CNST returns, with involvement in Maternal Care and Saving Babies Lives bundles.

Qualifications

• Lead on CNST compliance across perinatal services and manage reporting deadlines.
• Support compliance with Maternal Care Bundle and Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle.
• Collaborate with perinatal team to collate and present compliance evidence.
• Lead on CNST evidence preparation and returns.
• Attend meetings and provide expert advice to leadership.
• Participate in mandatory governance training and on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Work with Medical and Clinical Directors to ensure timely CNST evidence.
• Coordinate with governance and education teams to embed safety actions.
• Maintain the audit tool tracking yearly CNST standards and guidance.
• Produce regular progress reports for the Trust Board presentations.
• Maintain a library of CNST evidence for sign-off by leadership.
• Lead on preparation and submission of CNST compliance returns.
