Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a CNST and Special Projects Lead Midwife at Band 8A to manage CNST compliance across perinatal services and support the Maternal Care Bundle and Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle.

The post holder will lead reporting, collaborate with governance and education teams, and drive ad-hoc projects while providing expert CNST guidance across the trust. Flexibility across locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Current Midwifery Registration with NMC and significant clinical experience.
• Experience with CNST and maternal perinatal schemes is desirable.
• Proven ability to lead complex compliance projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead on CNST compliance and evidence submission for the perinatal service.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to embed safety actions into practice.
• Maintain audit tools and generate progress reports for the Trust Board.
• Support ad-hoc special projects arising from national inquiries.
• Provide expert advice on Maternity and Perinatal Incentive Scheme (CNST).
