Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is supporting a family-feel engineering business in Skelmersdale to appoint a Workshop Supervisor (CNC). You will lead the machine shop, coordinate with project engineers, and drive on-time delivery of bespoke components for nuclear, offshore, and automotive sectors.

The successful candidate will have CNC, milling and lathe experience, plus supervisory or management credentials, and will code Fanuc machines for bespoke builds.

Qualifications

• Background in CNC, Milling and Lathes.
• Experience supervising or managing a team.
• Ability to program Fanuc machines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the machine shop floor.
• Liaise with management and project engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Plan and monitor quality and quantities to ensure that projects are delivered effectively.
• Code and program Fanuc machines for bespoke builds.
